SureCare Franchising makes business start-up easy

Change Text Size A A A

Starting a brand new business in the care sector has never been easier with franchising opportunities available across the UK. Find out how SureCare Franchising can help you take those first steps towards supporting people throughout your local community.

The care sector has faced significant pressures in recent years and especially over the last twelve months. With so many people wanting to help contribute towards post-COVID recovery efforts across the country, we’re looking to budding business owners to provide compassionate care services to those most in need of them.

As we face the prolonged effects of the coronavirus pandemic, local authorities and the NHS are dealing with a huge about of stress and pressure. Home care services from SureCare are helping to relieve some of that pressure by offering specialised care to people in the safety and comfort of their own homes.

Why invest in a SureCare franchise?

At SureCare, we have a proven home care business model that helps people in need of assistance to receive quality care at home. Services are completely tailored to the individual and carried out by experienced and qualified care workers thanks to our network of franchise operators.

By investing in a SureCare franchise, you can provide life-changing support to customers in your local area and give peace of mind every time. Our franchising package includes all of the essential training you’ll need, alongside ongoing advice and guidance to ensure your continued success.

You will be given exclusive rights to trade under our licences and branding, which carries instant credibility as a highly respected national care service provider. From there, you’ll have the freedom and flexibility to manage your business in your own way, with our support available whenever you need it.

SureCare Franchising uses a straightforward process that’s easy to follow so you can get started with us as smoothly and as quickly as possible:

First things first – we look forward to kicking things off with an initial meeting. We’ve traditionally met prospective franchisees in person, inviting them to our Head Office in Chester. As working from home and video conference have become common parts of life over the last year, we’ve also adapted our initial discovery sessions so we can meet remotely. This makes our first meeting much easier and can be carried out no matter where you are in the country.

As our network expands, SureCare Franchising has recently established new premises in Lytham St Anne’s. We are hopeful that this will serve as an additional meeting place in the future, so prospective franchisees can visit us in person when the situation allows.

Once we’ve met with you, we aim to build up a strong relationship as quickly as possible. This allows the team at SureCare Franchising to get to know you, your previous experiences and your aspirations for running a business in care. It’s also your chance to ask us questions about how a typical SureCare franchise operates and discover what support is available.

It’s not necessary for our franchisees to have any background working in the care sector at all. What we’re most interested in seeing from you is the ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic and the dedication required for operating your own business, effectively managing staff and taking your own initiatives.

The take-away from our initial discussions will be to plan our next steps together. You’ll need a business plan before going any further and we can work with you to help put one together. Your business plan will be your initial roadmap, highlighting the services you plan to provide, the people you aim to serve and the goals you hope to reach.

With business plan in hand, the next major hurdle will be securing the finances for your initial investment. We estimate that new franchisees will require an investment of £70,000 to £95,000 to cover your franchising fee and initial working capital. If you need to rely on a business loan to achieve this, SureCare has close relationships with various high street banks who will be able to support you.

Once you’re happy with our franchising proposition and your plan of action, it’s time to get stuck in! We’ll formally welcome you to the SureCare network and start turning those plans into a reality. From securing premises to recruiting staff, the next few months will be a whirlwind of preparations and organisation.

At this stage you’ll also undergo a rigorous two-week long induction and training course. In the past we’ve done this at our state-of-the-art training facilities in our Chester Head Office. At present, however, we are conducting induction sessions remotely whilst ensuring the highest level of quality training and care compliance so you’re suitably prepared for launch day.

Finally, the time has come to officially launch your new business and reach out to customers in your local territory. You and your team can begin providing non-regulated support until your CQC registration is complete. From then, you’ll also be able to deliver personal care services to enrich the lives of your customers.

We don’t just shake hands and walk off into the sunset, though. You’ll regularly be in touch with your dedicated business development managers to discuss your business’ progress. Plus, the team at SureCare Franchising is only a call or email away whenever you have any questions or need to rely on us for a little extra support.

If you’re interested in getting started with your own new business in the care sector, get in touch with SureCare Franchising about one of our potential franchising opportunities today.

"I started off as a carer and then worked as a manager in the office of a care franchise, so I chose a franchise when I decided to start my own business. Care is heavily regulated and when I started the regulations were in flux, so I wanted the support of a franchisor. I’ve now got about 100 service users and have built up a team of 40 staff. I need much less franchisor support now, but it’s always there if needed and I talk regularly with other franchisees. We swap tips, advice and ideas so the franchise comes with a useful network."

"I don’t come from a care background, but became interested in running a business in this sector after caring for my grandfather. I saw how difficult it is for older people to continue to live on their own without day-to-day support. I like the ethos of SureCare, which is all about providing clients with the highest possible quality of care. It allows me to run my own successful business while also giving back to the community."
