At the heart of SureCare, our Head Office management team comprises of highly experienced individuals, bringing together their collective knowledge and expertise from different areas of business.

Above all else, our team is passionate about the care sector and well versed in the franchise industry; both of which are crucial to SureCare’s ongoing operation.

With key members coming from a variety of different backgrounds, our business is led by a strong, all-round team that covers business development, sales and marketing, financial control, customer service, quality assurance, and compliance with regulatory bodies.

Company Leadership

Gary Farrer

Chief Executive Officer

Gary is one of the UK’s most successful care industry entrepreneurs. Heading up the SureCare team, he previously owned the integrated care provider Safehands Group which, together with his wife Stephanie, he built into a £5.5 million turnover business before selling at the end of 2011.

He most enjoys rolling up his sleeves and working closely with franchisees to help them build the best possible business.

Jon Fuller

Commercial Director

Jon leads SureCare’s commercial growth strategy, driving long-term, sustainable success across the network. He brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience, including Director-level roles within both franchised and corporate environments. He has held both regional and national leadership positions over many years within the home care sector. This background has given Jon a deep understanding of the commercial, operational, and strategic requirements essential to supporting and strengthening franchise network performance and growth.

Nichola Bastow

Operations Director

Nichola joined SureCare in August 2024 as a Business Development Manager. Her previous experience spans two decades working in the social care sector in various senior management roles, including a Regional Operations Manager and CQC lead at a company providing quality services for people with complex care needs. She is driven by a strong passion for training and development to enhance the skills and performances of others.

Josh Farrer

New Franchise Sales Director

Josh has wealth of experience in Sales and Marketing. As Franchise Sales Director, his key focus is to recruit applicants with the drive and determination to exceed customers’ expectations and build a successful SureCare Franchise business. He offers important advice and guidance to franchise applicants, so they can develop the knowledge and confidence to establish successful businesses.

Imran Sabir

Regional Commercial Manager

Imran has previously worked in the Medical & Healthcare industry within a Sales capacity for 20 years. He has extensive knowledge and a good understanding of the processes that are in place and how the industry works, alongside experience in distribution, infection control, capital equipment and wound care industries. At SureCare, he supports our Franchise operators across the South of England with valuable guidance and advice to grow their businesses.

Rachel Gallagher

Regional Quality Assurance Manager

Rachel has over two decades worth of experience working in the care sector, initially joining SureCare as the Registered Manager for one of our company-owned branches. Throughout her career she has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience in care quality, compliance, best practices, and policies and procedures. Rachel utilises her expertise to provide invaluable support to our Franchisees.

Sue Dixon

Regional Quality Assurance Manager

Sue has worked in the care sector for over decade, both as a care assistant in the field and as an office-based supervisor. She has gained considerable experience in care worker recruitment and training, but soon found a keen interest in business development. Here at SureCare, she supports our Franchisees based in the South of England with guidance in areas like care quality and compliance.

Favour Iyoha

System Support Officer

Favour handles setup and provides system support for the training and rostering software used across the SureCare franchise network. His background is in IT support and systems administration, with a MSc in Cybersecurity and a BSc in Computer Science. Alongside this, he has previously gained experience as a Care Support Worker. Favour's breadth of knowledge and skills enables him to troubleshoot issues and handle queries to ensure the smooth operation of our training systems.

Head Office Team

Carolyn Griffiths

General Manager &
PA to the CEO


Carolyn is the General Manager overseeing operations at SureCare’s Head Office. She is the primary point of contact on a range of operational queries for new and existing franchisees. As the PA to the CEO, she also sits on meetings with the board of directors to ensure necessary communications are filtered down, and that operations at our Head Office run smoothly. In addition, Carolyn like to make sure that all visitors and new Franchise operators are looked after in true SureCare style when coming on-board.

Andrea Hutson

Company Accountant

Andrea brings over 25 years of experience as an Accountant, largely within the care sector. Since joining SureCare in December 2013, she has strengthened internal accounting systems and controls, while supporting non-finance managers with clear and effective management information. She also plays a key role in budgeting and cashflow management. Known for her strong attention to detail, she consistently delivers accurate and timely monthly accounts.

Emily Norman

Executive Team Assistant

Emily has over a decade of experience working in Administration and Customer Support roles, and she thrives on handling multiple tasks and enquiries in a fast-paced environment. She joined SureCare in February 2024 to initially support the Operations Director, and has since expanded to assist the wider Head Office team with a range of different administrative and support tasks as part of the franchise onboarding process and beyond.

Ashleigh Farrer

Franchise Clearance Officer

Ashleigh joined SureCare in January 2024 to provide additional assistance in the Franchise recruitment process. Her role involves vetting the suitability of potential Franchisees and handling clearance checks and other relevant administration in the early stages of the onboarding process. Previously, she worked as qualified primary school teacher since 2014, which has enabled her to develop key skills in attention to detail and effective and efficient communication.

Tracy Banks

Accounts Relationship Manager

Tracy has worked in a number of roles for SureCare since joining in 2006, including having responsibility for the SureCare’s Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). She is presently the first point of contact for prospective Franchisees, providing relevant information about SureCare and our Franchising opportunities. She also works closely with the Finance Team as Accounts Relationship Manager, ensuring timely payments of client invoices for our company-owned branch.

Debi Mullett

Assistant Management Accountant

Debi is part of the Finance Team at Head Office, providing additional support to the Company Accountant when it comes to producing monthly accounts in an accurate and timely manner. She also assists Franchisees with accounts-related queries. Before joining SureCare in September 2023, she had previously gained a great deal of experience from more than 25 years working within the Financial sector.

Jamie Walsh

Digital Content Manager

Jamie is responsible for maintaining and updating the content across SureCare’s website, both for Head Office and Franchisees in our network. Alongside this, he supports our wider marketing team and keeps a close eye on brand messaging across a range of materials, from physical leaflets to social media content. Jamie holds an undergraduate degree in Creative Writing, and assists with writing copy for articles and personal profiles for our Franchisees.

Christine Thorpe

Operations Assistant

Christine joined SureCare in 2017 as our Operations Assistant. She’s had various responsibilities since then which have included assisting the Operations Director and colleagues to ensure policies and procedures were up to date. Her role currently includes general administration, assisting the Head Office Manager as required and providing support to SureCare Franchisees and Head Office colleagues.

Barbara Lowe

Admin Assistant

Barbara joined SureCare in January 2024 to assist with various operations at SureCare’s Head Office. With over 20 years' experience in hospitality and customer relations, she is primarily based at our reception desk to greet Head Office visitors and our new Franchisees. She also supports colleagues with various office tasks, which include answering telephones, filing paperwork and preparing for meetings.

Karen White

Admin Assistant

Karen joined SureCare in January 2025 to help manage our reception desk and assist the wider Head Office team with various admin tasks. Previously, she has worked for many years as an Office Manager in Debt Collection and Accounts Administration. She also has experience within the Primary Care sector as a Phlebotomist and Health Care Assistant.
