Change Text Size A A A

With all of SureCare’s personal care services regulated by the Care Quality Commission, each of our franchise operators is routinely inspected on a frequent basis. This ensures that all of our local providers maintain consistency in their care and customer service standards across the country.

Operators at the Hillingdon branch completed their CQC registration in February 2017 with their initial inspection taking place in April 2018. The branch changed hands 9 months ago and has since undergone another recent inspection under new Director, Dipti Patel.

The team at SureCare Hillingdon have been building a strong reputation in the community over the years. Now staff at the branch have been able to show how operations there run smoothly, effectively and in a caring manner that puts service users first. The overall outcome of this latest inspection has been a “Good” rating in all areas of inspection: safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership.

A large part of this great result comes from the dedication and hard work of Registered Manager Maria Benaim who joined SureCare Hillingdon in September 2018. Maria Benaim, who is responsible for making sure that processes run effectively from day to day. Ensuring we achieve the best possible outcome for our service users.
Maria assisted the CQC inspector during the inspection and was able to provide additional information about SureCare Hillingdon where necessary. Maria demonstrated her daily activities, which include managing the team leader and care workers, keeping track of recruitment and training processes, and ensuring all clients get the best level of service possible.

Implementation of new processes that have supported the branch to receive the overall Good Rating.

Demonstrated how SureCare have supported their service users to become socially active within the community.

Director for SureCare Hillingdon – Dipti Patel, said ‘We are very proud to have received this “Good” rating in all areas, and a special thank you must go to our manager Maria who has worked tirelessly to achieve these fantastic results, this would not have been possible without her. I would also like to thank all the care staff whose commitment and dedication to proving the highest level of care to all our clients and have been a real asset to SureCare Hillingdon.’

The full report will be published on the CQC website and can be viewed from the link in the CQC box below.

Testimonials

"I started off as a carer and then worked as a manager in the office of a care franchise, so I chose a franchise when I decided to start my own business. Care is heavily regulated and when I started the regulations were in flux, so I wanted the support of a franchisor. I’ve now got about 100 service users and have built up a team of 40 staff. I need much less franchisor support now, but it’s always there if needed and I talk regularly with other franchisees. We swap tips, advice and ideas so the franchise comes with a useful network."

"We chose a franchise because it gives support on time-consuming issues such as policy, procedures and legislation, so it left us free to provide care. When we started out eight years ago, we were the sole carers, as well as looking after the marketing the business. Today we have 60 staff providing care for more than 100 children and older people."
