Continued success and new recruitment for SureCare North Leeds

Change Text Size A A A

Setting up just 12 months ago, SureCare North Leeds has experienced steady and significant growth in their business. Now the team are looking ahead to wider expansion with an increase in care staff.

Led by Manjinder Heer and his son Karun, the business has gone from strength to strength in providing vulnerable people with exceptional care services. Through this progression, these operators have been able to expand their team to reach more and more service users throughout the area.

Following their own personal experiences of caring for loved ones, Manjinder and Karun approached SureCare to establish and manage their own range of home care services, supporting the community in North Leeds & Harrogate. Over the last year, the father/son duo have forged a successful path with family values right at the heart of the business.

Further expansion & recruitment

Fresh off the back of scooping the Best Achievement Award at SureCare’s annual conference and gala earlier this year, SureCare North Leeds is delighted to announce plans for further growth in their team.

The branch is currently actively looking to recruit 50 new care workers by January 2019, to continue their strong, person-centred delivery of quality care services. Through this evolution, the team will be able to expand their clientele across North Leeds, Harrogate and the surrounding areas.

Speaking about the business’ plans for the future, Karun Heer of SureCare North Leeds said:

“We are set to face more healthy growth and with this we recognise the need to expand our growing team. We are delighted to have a happy set of our clientele who receive a service which meets their individual needs.”

“Our carefully designed and robust recruitment process ensures we identify those who have the right attitude and work ethic to deliver our bespoke and high quality service. That’s the SureCare promise.”

By continuing to expand through further recruitment and providing vital care services to residents in the wider area, SureCare North Leeds is committed to making a real difference in people’s lives where they need it most.

"I started off as a carer and then worked as a manager in the office of a care franchise, so I chose a franchise when I decided to start my own business. Care is heavily regulated and when I started the regulations were in flux, so I wanted the support of a franchisor. I’ve now got about 100 service users and have built up a team of 40 staff. I need much less franchisor support now, but it’s always there if needed and I talk regularly with other franchisees. We swap tips, advice and ideas so the franchise comes with a useful network."

"We chose a franchise because it gives support on time-consuming issues such as policy, procedures and legislation, so it left us free to provide care. When we started out eight years ago, we were the sole carers, as well as looking after the marketing the business. Today we have 60 staff providing care for more than 100 children and older people."
