SureCare welcomes new Stevenage & North Herts franchise

Change Text Size A A A

The latest franchise to join SureCare’s growing network is getting ready to begin trading in the territory of Stevenage & North Herts. We’re pleased to be extending our diverse range of care services to more people across Hertfordshire, under the watchful eye of our newest franchisee.

Taking charge at SureCare Stevenage & North Herts is Ritu Haer, who will lead a team of care workers to provide vital services to people throughout the local community. We’re assured that she’ll bring a lot a passion and commitment to the role, ensuring that the business goes from strength to strength over the coming months and years.

Ritu joined SureCare earlier this year and completed our intensive franchise induction course at the end of June. With the support and assistance of Franchise Operations Manager, Naz Sen, we are working with Ritu to apply for CQC registration. Once achieved, SureCare Stevenage & North Herts will be able to provide a range of personal care services for people in the area.

Until then, her team will be able to get up and running straight away thanks to our suite of unregulated services. These include domestic jobs like helping with laundry and gardening, as well as providing a shopping service for those who find it tricky to get out and about themselves.

About Ritu

Ritu is no stranger to the world of care, having previously worked in various senior care roles. Her background includes working as a dementia care leader at a well renowned nursing home, giving her experience of specialist care whilst also effectively leading a team of others.

After leaving the care industry in 2017, she began her own cleaning business. Over the years, the business has seen substantial growth to become a rousing success that provides employment for many staff. Combining that business management experience with care sector knowledge, Ritu is the ideal candidate to lead a new SureCare franchise.

Throughout her professional life, Ritu has gained an understanding of how important it is to provide exceptional standards of customer service and quality in whatever work she does. At SureCare, we believe it is this level of commitment that lends itself to what makes a good business leader and we’re delighted to welcome her to our family.

We’ve been working very closely with Ritu and her husband Ran during the initial stages of setting up SureCare Stevenage & North Herts, and this cooperation will continue as the business takes off over the coming months. Everyone at SureCare’s franchising team will ensure that Ritu gets off to a smooth and successful start and we look forward to seeing the business grow and flourish in the care sector for years to come.

"I don’t come from a care background, but became interested in running a business in this sector after caring for my grandfather. I saw how difficult it is for older people to continue to live on their own without day-to-day support. I like the ethos of SureCare, which is all about providing clients with the highest possible quality of care. It allows me to run my own successful business while also giving back to the community."

"I started off as a carer and then worked as a manager in the office of a care franchise, so I chose a franchise when I decided to start my own business. Care is heavily regulated and when I started the regulations were in flux, so I wanted the support of a franchisor. I’ve now got about 100 service users and have built up a team of 40 staff. I need much less franchisor support now, but it’s always there if needed and I talk regularly with other franchisees. We swap tips, advice and ideas so the franchise comes with a useful network."
