SureCare franchisees achieve top Home Care awards

Change Text Size A A A

This month, a couple of SureCare franchisees received the wonderful news that they have been named amongst the Top 20 Recommended Home Care 2020 providers by homecare.co.uk

Our operators at SureCare Central Cheshire, SureCare Newcastle and SureCare Rugby received the accolades, which focus on the top 20 home care providers in different regions across the UK.

The top providers are decided based on reviews and recommendations from service users and their families, so it’s excellent to see their hard work and dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed, especially at such a challenging time.

SureCare Central Cheshire

In the North West, franchise owner Tina Jones and her business partner Kirstie Hercules have turned SureCare Central Cheshire into one of the region’s leading providers of home care. Joining SureCare in 2019, they have quickly built a substantial business, bringing safe and quality care to people in their own homes.

Owners of SureCare Central Cheshire Tina Jones and Kirstie Hercules said: “When setting up our homecare company, only 16 months ago, we said that we had two simple aims – to provide high quality care to our clients and to build a company that staff were proud to be a part of.

“Reading our client reviews on homecare.co.uk shows how we have achieved our first aim and the following quote from one of our team members shows how we have achieved the other. We will continue to build our company across Crewe, Nantwich and the surrounding rural villages, providing only the highest levels of care and continuing to offer superb care role opportunities to local people in a company where they can gain experience and grow with us.”

Kimberlee, one of the care team members said: “Working with SureCare as a first time carer has been one of the most amazing and rewarding experiences. I have learnt so much with the help of the amazing management and working with wonderful team members. The clients smiles when we come in to assist them with care tasks and the ones who just enjoy the company and a good chat over a cup of tea is really a feeling beyond heart-warming. Being a carer is more than completing tasks some struggle with, it’s a big family where we share everything from the warm hugs and tears to the belly laughs. I always knew from starting that our team would achieve greatness and go far, as we have nothing but love for what we do.”

SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside

Over in the North East, SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside has earned a spot on the Top 20 list for the second year in a row. A customer rating of 9.5 out of 10 means they now have a 2020 accolade sitting proudly alongside their 2019 title.

Last year, franchise owner Akshay Duggal said: “This award proves that our service users, their friends and family have confidence in our company values and, of course, our care workers.” We’re thrilled to see that the Newcastle team is consistently being recognised for their exceptional work by the people who matter most.

SureCare Rugby & North Warwickshire

Last but by no means least, SureCare Rugby & North Warwickshire is listed amongst the Top 20 care providers in the West Midlands. Achieving a score of 9.9 out of 10, the team in Rugby is also celebrating a double win after securing a Top 20 spot in 2019 as well.

We’re immensely proud of our franchise operators across the country for consistently delivering high quality services to people who need them most. It’s also great to see how service users and those closest to them have responded to all the hard work and commitment shown by our teams of care workers.

Testimonials

"I started off as a carer and then worked as a manager in the office of a care franchise, so I chose a franchise when I decided to start my own business. Care is heavily regulated and when I started the regulations were in flux, so I wanted the support of a franchisor. I’ve now got about 100 service users and have built up a team of 40 staff. I need much less franchisor support now, but it’s always there if needed and I talk regularly with other franchisees. We swap tips, advice and ideas so the franchise comes with a useful network."

Anne Anyon, Preston & South Ribble

"We chose a franchise because it gives support on time-consuming issues such as policy, procedures and legislation, so it left us free to provide care. When we started out eight years ago, we were the sole carers, as well as looking after the marketing the business. Today we have 60 staff providing care for more than 100 children and older people."
