Reflecting on a successful 2019 for SureCare Franchising

Change Text Size A A A

This year marked SureCare’s 25th year in business and what better way to celebrate than to welcome several new franchisees to our growing family. Just before we wave goodbye to 2019, today we take a look back at one of our most successful years to date.

Over the last twelve months, our services have spread further throughout the country to reach more communities and more people in need of care at home. From new franchisees opening new branches, to extended marketing efforts from existing operators, SureCare has continued to make a name for itself as one of the UK’s leading home care providers today.

There are now over 50 SureCare franchise operations up and down the land and 2019 saw some of our latest additions start their journeys with us.

New franchise operators

From the beginning of the year, the head office team has been meeting with and training new franchisees as they settle into their new premises. These operators now manage their own local care teams and provide essential care to service users wherever they are.

New branches that opened this year include those in Central Cheshire, Derby, Stockport & Tameside, Peterborough, Ealing & Hounslow, Luton, and Halifax & Huddersfield. All of our new franchisees are now delivering completely tailored care packages within their territories, bringing SureCare’s unique services to more people than ever before.

And that’s not all. We’re already gathering speed meeting with new business owners looking to franchise with SureCare in 2020. Things are looking positive for the New Year and we can’t wait to meet many new care teams over the next twelve months too!

Other successes this year

It isn’t just our new recruits that have captured our attention this year, though. Many of our existing franchise operators have experienced lots of success stories throughout 2019. We shared in some of our most recent triumphs at this year’s annual conference in April and we’re looking forward to meeting up again next Spring as well.

September saw our Shropshire operators celebrating a milestone 20 years in business. As fate would have it, the results of their most recent CQC inspection came in just before the anniversary, giving the SureCare Shropshire team double cause for celebration with the best possible rating of ‘Outstanding’.

Another of our longest standing franchises had some big news this year too. Over at SureCare Birmingham, owners Ben and Kay have handed over the reigns to sons Daniel and Moses to carry on the family business, ushering in a new generation of leadership for the future.

Alongside this, SureCare operators up and down the country have grown their businesses thanks to additional marketing support locally and online. Through our social media partners, Facebook advertising has given our services in Doncaster a massive boost. On top of that, we’re currently working with digital partners to make further ongoing improvements across the web. We hope to see more of this in the New Year as we make our way through a positive 2020.

We’re still going to be working incredibly hard over the festive season to continue supporting our nationwide operators and care teams.

Testimonials

"I have worked in Care Sector as a Senior Social Worker over 16 years and I am therefore fully aware that the compliance, quality assurance and legislative framework are very complex and time consuming. I chose a SureCare franchise to tackle time consuming issues so that I am able to concentrate on business development, relationship building, market growth and staff training. I now have more than 109 service users and, with the support of SureCare, our weekly hours have more than tripled in 18 months and we are looking to double them again by summer 2017."

Sami Haider, Southend

"We chose a franchise because it gives support on time-consuming issues such as policy, procedures and legislation, so it left us free to provide care. When we started out eight years ago, we were the sole carers, as well as looking after the marketing the business. Today we have 60 staff providing care for more than 100 children and older people."
