SureCare expands care services in South Manchester with new franchisees

Change Text Size A A A

SureCare is delighted to welcome another team of franchisees to our nationwide network. Our latest franchisees are a mother and son duo, who will head up operations in Manchester South to support the local community with vital care services.

Preparations are underway for launching the newest branch in our network, SureCare Manchester South, led by Amaan Habib and his mother Farah Habib. Together they will oversee a team of care workers and co-ordinators who will support people in the surrounding area with a wide range of care services in the home.

As CQC registration is currently ongoing, the SureCare Manchester South team will need to wait a little longer before they can offer personal support services like domiciliary home care and round-the-clock live-in care. However, their business can still get off to a flying start in the meantime by delivering unregulated services like domestic cleaning, shopping and running errands for people in need of a helping hand.

Once registration with the national regulator is complete, they will provide exceptional quality care services for people of all ages and abilities to enhance lives throughout south Manchester. From elderly care to childcare services, and specialist support for those with disabilities or dementia, SureCare is determined to serve people at all stages of life’s journey.

Why choose SureCare?

Farah joins us after a long career in owning and operating various retail franchises alongside her husband. Having recently graduated from college, it’s the turn of son Amaan to begin his career journey and be his own boss with a new business. Now he’s enlisted the experience and guidance of mum Farah to support his new venture.

Together they’ve recently been looking for an opportunity to reach out to their local community and make a significant positive difference to people’s lives. Following several discussions with various home care franchisors nationwide, Amaan and Farah selected SureCare as their preferred choice and we’re thrilled to welcome them to our growing family.

With SureCare’s capacity for flexible care packages and a wealth of franchising assistance from our Head Office team, Amaan and Farah will be able to grow their successful business, benefitting from a multitude of revenue streams. Furthermore, SureCare’s family oriented approach aligns extremely well with the situation of our new franchisees and their family-run business.

What’s next?

Amaan and Farah are both currently undergoing our intensive induction training process. This is where we introduce them to the world of home care management to share our knowledge, industry experience and the requirements and standards needed to operate in this delicate sector. Throughout the early stages of this process, they’ll be closely supported by SureCare’s Onboarding Manager, Naz Sen.

Once CQC registration is complete, Amaan and Farah will be handed over to dedicated business development manager Rachel Gallagher, who will provide assistance with ongoing business compliance and quality assurance. They’ll also receive focused support from Stuart Spinks on recruitment and retention of care staff, to ensure the business continues to meet growing demand across South Manchester.

Our Head Office team will always be on hand to offer business support where necessary, even far into the future. We look forward to seeing Amaan and Farah experiencing successful growth with SureCare Manchester South as they bring vital care services to the people who most need them.

Testimonials

"I started off as a carer and then worked as a manager in the office of a care franchise, so I chose a franchise when I decided to start my own business. Care is heavily regulated and when I started the regulations were in flux, so I wanted the support of a franchisor. I’ve now got about 100 service users and have built up a team of 40 staff. I need much less franchisor support now, but it’s always there if needed and I talk regularly with other franchisees. We swap tips, advice and ideas so the franchise comes with a useful network."

Anne Anyon, Preston & South Ribble

"I don’t come from a care background, but became interested in running a business in this sector after caring for my grandfather. I saw how difficult it is for older people to continue to live on their own without day-to-day support. I like the ethos of SureCare, which is all about providing clients with the highest possible quality of care. It allows me to run my own successful business while also giving back to the community."
