SureCare has come a long way from just providing domiciliary care, or home care as it’s better known today. Now we offer a comprehensive range of services to ensure our customers are well looked after.

As a SureCare franchisee, you’ll be able to offer various care services to your local community for all stages of life’s journey. From babies and toddlers right the way through to old age, you can be proud that you’ll deliver the right level of care to highest possible standards.

Formerly known as domiciliary care, our home care and support helps older members of society to remain independent and comfortable by staying in their own homes. We firmly believe that home care is a vital service for this reason, reducing the need for people to move into residential care.

It’s our aim to make things as easy as possible for our customers, whether it’s getting dressed in the morning or going about general household chores like cooking, cleaning and laundry. Attending social events, doctors’ appointments or places of worship can be facilitated by our care workers, along with other social activities.

As average life expectancy rises, we expect there to be an increase in the need for home care across the country. SureCare franchisees are already providing a significant level of home care services to local residents, with greater requirements expected in the long-term future.

Live-in care allows service users to live independently in the comfort of their own homes, while being professionally looked after by a full-time live-in carer.

Given the choice, 97% of people say they would prefer to continue living in their own home rather than move into a care home. Live-in care allows you to do this.

Over the years, we’ve greatly taken on board feedback and suggestions from our customers to see how we can improve on our levels of service. One aspect that a lot of our feedback touched upon was a need for jobs around the home, alongside caring for individuals.

As a result, many SureCare franchisees now offer various home services to help support people in their own homes. By taking care of domestic jobs like mowing the lawn and general household DIY, from hanging pictures to changing lightbulbs, we take pride in being able to offer our customers an all-in-one care package.

Our home services aren’t just limited to elderly or disabled clients. It’s SureCare’s mission to make life easier for people whatever their circumstances. By offering a variety of home services, we aim to set ourselves apart from alternative care providers by going above and beyond.

We understand the importance of taking a break every once in a while. That’s why we strive to recruit care workers who can work on a flexible basis, so that we can provide essential services on a temporary basis whenever it’s needed.

For times when somebody’s regular carer needs a quick break or a full-blown holiday, it can be a great concern for families to find the right care cover. In other cases, those who require care may wish to take a care companion with them on their own holidays.

At SureCare, our flexible staff can provide appropriate care on a temporary basis. Offering a mix of half- and full-day home care, we take pride in our ability to deliver peace of mind to clients and their families that they’re always in good hands, whatever the requirements of their situation.

Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia are affecting more people as the population generally lives longer. It’s never easy for anybody when a loved one is affected by dementia, but we’re determined to offer a lifeline for those requiring additional support under difficult circumstances.

At SureCare, we recognise how dementia or associated conditions can be serious factors in the level of care that we provide. Our experienced care professionals across the country receive training to support clients with dementia in a manner that is professional and reassuring to families and friends.

Our teams understand that modern parenting can be tricky, with busy work lives and social plans often getting in the way of parents looking after their little ones. Comprised of childcare specialists and working mums, SureCare’s childcare teams are capable of providing a comprehensive range of childcare facilities.

Alongside babysitting and nanny services, our franchises can offer flexible mobile crèches. These can be set up for events like weddings and conferences, where temporary childcare is needed. Our mobile crèches include a range of toys, interactive games and sensory equipment to engage children of all ages and abilities.

All SureCare babysitters and childcare specialists are DBS checked as standard, as well as given specific training to deliver the best possible service. Not only do our franchises strive to make life easier for members of the community, it’s our mission to deliver services that are reputable, dependable and trustworthy.

"I started off as a carer and then worked as a manager in the office of a care franchise, so I chose a franchise when I decided to start my own business. Care is heavily regulated and when I started the regulations were in flux, so I wanted the support of a franchisor. I’ve now got about 100 service users and have built up a team of 40 staff. I need much less franchisor support now, but it’s always there if needed and I talk regularly with other franchisees. We swap tips, advice and ideas so the franchise comes with a useful network."

"I don’t come from a care background, but became interested in running a business in this sector after caring for my grandfather. I saw how difficult it is for older people to continue to live on their own without day-to-day support. I like the ethos of SureCare, which is all about providing clients with the highest possible quality of care. It allows me to run my own successful business while also giving back to the community."
