An Overview: The Care Sector in 2014

You only have to watch a TV news bulletin or read a newspaper to realise how big an issue care and, more importantly, the quality of care is in the UK today.

Hardly a day goes by without there being a depressing story about patients being let down or national or local care budget cutbacks. Then there are stories of how we are all living longer and how treatments are being found or sought, to help combat a variety of conditions affecting the elderly and the disabled.

Care franchise businesses like SureCare are well placed to play a critical role in the way care is packaged and delivered over the coming years. There is an opportunity to influence the quality of care provided to the young, the old and the disabled. And there is an opportunity to set up and develop a successful, highly regarded, profitable franchise business.

The care sector is quite simply the hottest ticket in town for franchisees willing to put in the hard work and think outside of the box.

Would be franchisees are well placed to take advantage of the reshaped SureCare that the team at our Chester HQ is now able to offer the right candidates. We have moved away from being a company which sells domiciliary care franchises and, instead, have become a far more diverse care franchise opportunity.

While Dom care remains one of our services, we have also expanded into childcare, respite care and providing home services to carry out a full range of household tasks. We have repositioned the business opportunity so that franchisees are able to provide people in their area with a community of care services.

We now have franchises which offer baby-sitting services to their clients and others which are running mobile crèches at weddings and a range of other events. We have other franchisees who are providing a comprehensive range of home services to clients – everything from collecting the laundry, doing the weekly shop, taking someone to their local bridge club or simply spending time having a meal with a client.

Our services are therefore relevant now and into the future. We have future-proofed the care services we are delivering on a daily basis in communities across the country.

The best care is delivered on a very local level, where carers and the cared-for are really able to get to know each other, where there is total respect and trust and where quality of care is never jettisoned in favour of a quick buck or penny pinching.

We are talking to a number of potential franchisees excited by the opportunities to not only get involved in the hottest sector in the market-place, but also to do so with a company that cares, a company that genuinely wants to make a difference to people’s lives.

One of the things that excites us the most at SureCare HQ is that many of the people considering becoming franchisees come from outside of the sector. Some of the best candidates are those who have cared for loved ones themselves and decided they want to make a difference.

Amrit Dhaliwal, who bought the Oxfordshire franchise after caring for his elderly grandfather, is a good example of this. Amrit had no previous experience in the sector having previously run a successful tea rooms and restaurant in Richmond, but is now building what promises to be one of SureCare’s most exciting and successful franchises.

If you believe you could follow in Amrit’s footsteps, contact us today to find out more about opportunities with SureCare, including how our experienced team is there to help your business dreams come true.
